Acura has updated its MDX luxury SUV for the 2010 model year. The 2010 Acura MDX gets a slightly upgraded exterior, revised powertrain options including a new 6-speed automatic transmission, chassis refinements, more comfort, improved interior technology and an all-new Advance Package.
Outside, the 2010 Acura MDX gets a little more aggressive with new front and rear bodywork and Acura’s signature milk-mustache grille. It also gets brighter LED lights, new trim pieces and optional 19-inch 7-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels.
The “newly refined 3.7L V-6 develops 300 horsepower and 270 lb-ft” (same as before) mated to an all-new 6-speed automatic transmission provides better performance and improved fuel efficiency. EPA estimated fuel-economy comes in at 16/21 mpg (city/highway). Acura says that the chassis improvements provide “stiffer rear trailing arm mounting, body rigidity improvements and reduced overall NVH.”
Pricing and availability details will be announced shortly.
